My interest in the O&P industry developed as a direct result of losing my own leg 20 years ago. Up until that time, I hadn’t decided on a field of study and had never considered a career in prosthetics. I now have over 15 years’ experience in the industry. I take pride in fabricating devices with the highest quality standards and in knowing that I’ve helped others like myself regain their mobility.
My goal is to lead the industry in customer service and quality control, while keeping a strong emphasis on business development. We founded our company, Motion Unlimited, on those high standards, and we are excited for the opportunity to meet – and exceed – those standards every day.

Alex Stein

When I first came across the orthotics and prosthetics industry, I saw an opportunity to help people regain mobility, work with the latest technology and build something with my hands. I studied material science and learned hands-on fabrication skills using a variety of materials, such as metal, thermoplastics and composites, while completing my 4-year apprenticeship in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Carl-Bosch-Schule in Heidelberg/Institut Fendel, Trier, Germany.
For the past 20 years, my passions for technology, medical device design, process design, resource development and business management have only grown stronger. And now, I am thrilled to continue my career of providing high quality custom devices through my own business, Motion Unlimited.
